| Welcome to The Royal Parlor of Magic. Our shows will return in a few weeks but currently we are busy with corporate and private performances , not just here in the Tampa Bay area but actually across the country.
We hope that you saw us “appear” at a recent event. If not, maybe you will in the coming weeks. The foundation of The Royal Parlor is to allow guests to experience close-up magic in an up-close environment. We do not make an elephant disappear, but there is a chance the spirit of Houdini might appear in the palm of your hand.
The Royal Parlor of Magic is more than card and coin tricks. It is an opportunity to experience the excitement of magic. It is designed for adults, but we have found that younger members of our audience truly enjoy the show, too. We like to think of it as elegant magic. It is not an engineering experiment. Instead, it is, literally, a hands-on experience that you and your friends will remember for a long time. Storytelling is a big part of our production, with magic leading us on a journey into a world of fun and mystery. Effects such as “One Minute to Midnight” and “The One Hundred Dollar Key” have become audience favorites. When you leave a performance at The Royal Parlor of Magic, you will not be saying, “How did he do that?”. You will be thinking isn’t it amazing that he did that. Our philosophy is not to confuse you, it is to mystify and amuse you. Our shows designed for an intimate audience, usually just 50 to 75 people. Whether it is at The Parlor or on the road, all the seats for our shows are close enough to the performer so every member of the audience is a part of the magic. The guests are certainly close enough that you are always in danger of being our next victim, ah, I mean, “magician’s assistant”, just make sure you still have your watch when you leave.
